Oral History

Oral history interview with Laura Tanner, 04.07.2023, SAPA Foundation

Method

Oral history is a method of documenting and researching the performing arts. It is based on interviews and conversations about the life and work of individuals. Previously unheard memories and undocumented perspectives thus find their way into the memory of the performing arts and supplement the collections. The SAPA Foundation has been running its own oral history program since 2012. It uses this to develop projects and publications and makes the recorded and archived conversations available as source material. Take a look and listen for yourself!
