SAPA conducts narrative interviews with people who have helped shape Swiss stage production over a long period of time. These follow a three-stage interview process:

Initiated by an introductory question, the focus is initially on the interviewees' own stories. In a second phase, we ask follow-up questions, and finally, an open-ended guided interview completes the exchange.

With the consent of the interviewees, the interviews are audio-visually recorded, transcribed and provided with metadata. In their entirety, the interviews show how diverse the performing arts and the associated life and work stories are. Selected video portraits provide an insight.
