After her dance training at the Sigurd Leder School of Dance in London, Rigotti returned to Switzerland and founded the Tanz-Werkstatt in Wattwil with an adjoining studio stage. For a time, she offered professional dance training there.
As a member of Juri Ackermann's Choreo77 ensemble, she worked as a dancer and choreographer as well as a teacher, including teaching Fumi Matsuda. Rigotti founded the Chössi Theater and was a co-founder of Dance and the Child. The committed dance teacher also teaches amateurs using the Leeder method until she is very old.
