Claudio Schott completed his training at the renowned London School of Contemporary Dance and the Royal Academy of Dancing. He then spent nine years as a dancer with Images Dance Theatre, Movement Dance Group and the English National Opera in the UK. During this time he made guest appearances in the USA and numerous European countries.

Claudio Schott returned to Switzerland in 1982 and devoted himself to dance education. He taught in his own dance studio, at the Dimitri circus and theater school and in Varese and Milan. He has also been a guest teacher at international dance workshops in cities such as Genoa, Milan, Magglingen and even Bali.

From 1982 to 1997, he founded and led the company Progetto Danza di Lugano as artistic director. During this time, he created around 30 ballet evenings and toured numerous countries in Western and Eastern Europe as well as Asia.

As a versatile choreographer, Claudio Schott has worked on television programs, films, musicals and plays. His work combines technical precision with artistic creativity and has had a lasting impact on the dance scene both in Switzerland and internationally.
