You will gain insight into the diverse communication and mediation activities of the SAPA Foundation. The Archive of the Performing Arts communicates across different channels and implements a wide range of formats for public engagement.

We offer a varied internship with scope for individual initiative in a dynamic, forward-looking archive. The workplace is located directly next to Bern railway station. A modest internship salary is paid.

Duties

  • Linking Wikipedia articles with archival holdings and/or creating Wikipedia entries on selected holdings
  • Assisting with the implementation of mediation formats (virtual and physical showcases as well as social media)
  • Insight into and support for the planning and delivery of mediation formats (depending on the timing of the internship)

Requirements

The internship is aimed at students of theatre and dance studies, or a related humanities discipline, and at various study fields within the performing arts. Prerequisites include good knowledge of the Swiss theatre and dance scene, and an interest in communication activities in both analogue and digital contexts. You are reliable and precise in your work, possess good German language skills, spoken and written, and enjoy working in a multilingual (German/French) environment and in a small, motivated team.
