Conservation and digitization
general information
Digitization at SAPA is specialist work. Each analog AV document is checked for damage, cleaned if necessary and processed individually. Professional digitization includes precise documentation of the technical metadata of the master tape. Playback devices, copying paths, faulty source material and other anomalies are specifically noted.
Quality control at the end of the process ensures that digitization has been successful. It is carried out in accordance with the client's specifications and professional standards.
Copyright issues are the responsibility of the client.
This is carried out in accordance with the Memoriav recommendations for digital archiving.
